• Monitor which channels, movies, or shows you watch
• Store your IPTV provider credentials on our servers (credentials are stored locally on your device only)
• Sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes

All streams flow directly between your IPTV provider and your device. HIVE-TV acts solely as a playback interface.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Hashed password (we never store plaintext passwords)

3.2 Device Information

To enforce device limits per subscription tier, we collect:

• Device fingerprint (anonymized identifier)
• User agent string
• IP address (for session validation only, not stored long-term)
• Last active timestamp

3.3 Subscription & Billing Data

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store:

• Stripe customer ID (reference only)
• Subscription tier and status
• Billing period dates

We do NOT store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details.

3.4 Ad Interaction Data (Free & Lifetime Tiers)

For users on ad-supported tiers, we collect:

• Ad impression counts (anonymized)
• Ad click counts (anonymized)

This data is aggregated and not linked to specific viewing content.

4. Ad Frequency & Consent

HIVE-TV enforces strict ad frequency limits:

• Free tier: Maximum 5 ads per session, 15 per day
• Lifetime tier: Maximum 3 ads per session, 6 per day
• Pro Monthly/Yearly: Zero ads

All ads are non-targeted. We do not use behavioral profiling or tracking cookies for ad personalization. Before displaying ads, users must provide affirmative consent in compliance with GDPR and applicable privacy regulations.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days
• Device records are purged 90 days after last activity
• Billing references are retained as required by law
